The activities provided in the Additional Exploration section can be used in a variety of ways. Some of the activities might be used as assessment activities, especially ones that ask students for find a mathematical model for other population data sets. Students could also select one of the activities as a culminating activity to the project. Or perhaps if you are working with students of different mathematical abilities, some of the activities in this section might replace the more challenging math activities in the project.
